Amen. I've had the same problem in windows 7. Never had it in XP.
Eternal flash updates too, and I can't figure out a way to tell either it or the system to just update the darn things. None of the flash buttons seem to be labeled.

As far as I know, I have Java on my Win7 computer. Occasionally, I will arrow down through a web page and find the statement that reads something like java void 0 false. The primary reason I am writing here is that there are times when I need to have Java turned on and I thought it was, but I keep getting errors that say things like I need to update my browser (IE9 and Firefox8). I wanted to do something last night that came back with an error stating that I needed to have Java enabled, and it looks like it is enabled to me. What am I supposed to do?
