Personally, I prefer to read books sitting in my easy chair, or on the
bus, rather than sitting in an office chair at a PC, especially when I
have been doing so for most of the day.

They sure sound better than the stream.  Also, text to speech does not
have to be enabled to read it on your computer.  I also have a kindle,
and books that won't read on it, do read on the computer, although I'd
prefer to use the kindle itself.
