If you run a group, there are some things about the new interface that are nice. You can, for example, add members directly avoiding the issue of people asking to be added but not confirming which happens a lot to me. I know of know way to do this with the old interface. Unfortunately, to add names directly with the new Google Groups interface, you have to solve a Google CAPTCHA. There is an audio alternative, but in over a year, I have never been able to solve a Google audio CAPTCHA. Has anyone here ever succeeded at that? If you have, I'd like to know your secret. I have felt pretty confident that I entered as many as five words correctly. Sometimes I'm convinced that Google has really put no logic to accept audio CAPTCHA input but put it there for show. <smile> As stated, though, you can still switch to the old interface. They say that the old interface is only there for a limited time, but who knows if they will be able to get rid of it completely or not.
