Mike,

Take a look at the WindowEyes manual and search for place markers. This feature will do exactly what you are looking for.

I regularly read Bible chapters on BibleGateway.org

The various translations and versions offered include valuable explanatory
footnotes which are best read immediately as they are cited.
If one wanders off to read them, of course, one then needs to find there
place back in the Bible chapter to continue reading onward.
I currently do this by making note of a search string in the chapter,
clipping it into the clipboard, and then pasting it into WE's find
command.
Works well enough most of the time, but it can be somewhat clumsy and
awkward also.

So here is what I was wondering. It would be nice to be able to
temporarily mark a point on a web page, wander off to read something else,
and then return to the former spot.

I don't believe that WE can currently do this, nor is there a script that
allows for this? Does something like this exist; and, if not, could
someone (either WE through a WE enhancement or a app writer through
scripting) develop this capability?
