Subjec! t: RE: annoying start and end tones

I personally love these tones. <smile> They are especially great
because you can tell when Window-Eyes launches (before it even speaks)
and when it has completely stopped running. Until now, this was
something only a sighted user could tell you. And actually, the sighted
user would have to look to see if Window-Eyes stopped running
completely, which a novice would likely not know how to do.

But, if you want to turn them off or change them to something else, you
can do so in the Control Panel of Win! dow! s.

I ju! st installed Windoweyes 8.4. Now, when I start or close Windoweyes
I hear musical tones; this didn't happen with 8.3. Has some setting in
Windoweyes been changed or has some app been updated?

O want to get rid of these tones.

Thanks.
