Hi Robert,
If you listen carefully to the info read in the list view, you can
determine which column is the one before the Read/Unread status column.
If you then move your mouse through the column headers by means of the
previous and next clip mouse keys, you can find the header clip for the
Read//Unread status; you have to find that header in this way because
that header is unnamed, unlike, for example, From, Subject, Date, etc.
Once you find the Read/Unread header clip, use the mouse drag and drop
key, Insert-Delete (in the Desktop layout) to drag it where you want,
which, as yu said, in front of the left-most header.
