it helped when I wrote taskbar as one word rather than two. I got to
windows update, and the number two about hide icons and notifications,
but you didn't say whether to hit a button on it by entering on the
two, or just to hit ok, because from there I couldn't tab to microsoft
security clients; just ended up going around in a circle again.

Hi Kathy ,
If you do not want to receive that notice,
press window key
type
task bar
arrow down to show or hide notification and enter
tab to windows update
and arrow up to
just hide icon and notification
then tab to Microsoft security client
and arrow up to
just hide icon and notification
then tab to OK and enter
Stay well,

I get notifications to click on this sort of update while I’m reading
my mail, but don’t know how to get to the place where I’d click to get
the update. I’m set to receive updates automatically; does that mean
that if my computer is on at the right time, the update will install
eventually? When I do a manual check for updates, I’m told that no
important updates are available, and that there are four optional
updates. Therefore, not sure why I’m getting these notifications. I’m
on windows seven with internet explorer eleven.

Thanks.
