Hi Samuel,
Assumming that Speak Tool tips is on, you could use Numpad Insert-Plus
to route your mouse pointer to each button and see if a tool tip pops up
which would then speak the button's name; or you could let your sighted
assistant read the button name; in either case, use Control-Insert-F
while focus is on the button to label it.
