Check out the mobility settings in control panel. Two of my friends
with Dells were able to set the function keys back to function keys
rather than the multimedia keys. Good luck. This key switch is really
annoying for sure.

If I’m in IE 11, Alt F4 will close the program, but in Office that
pulls up the projection options.

way to make the function keys work without usihng the fn key? When I
am in the we manual and want to read the info I have to hit the fn key
