Hi, Go to hot keys/browse mode/ and change select content key from f8 to something you'd rather use that doesn't make you move your hands off of the keyboard.

I completely agree. I never understood why this was implemented in the first place when there was never a problem to begin with. You can always use the arrow keys for selecting text no matter if it was in browse mode or not. Either way would work. If it ain't broke, why fix it. Unless I'm missing something I don't see any benefit this feature brings to Window-eyes. In fact, judging from all the messages on the list, it causes way more confusion than anything else.
