Great.

I thought that might be the case.

And, as I said before, I'm glad we users also have opportunity to deactivate
our installs.

Thanks!

Hello Joseph,

1. A persistent internet connection is not required in order for you to
continue using your personalized Window-Eyes serial number and/or
synthesizers. It is only necessary if you wish to activate your machine
online.

2. In the event of a computer problem, we can reset your activations if
requested to do so. Note that doing so will require you to reactivate your
personalized serial number on any computers which already have Window-Eyes
installed.

I hope this is helpful.

Regards,
Steve

Hi list:

If AI Squared staff wouldn't mind, maybe some clarification would be in
order on the way WE for Office works, as far as knowing whether it's
registered, or not.

My own experience, although, it's with Office 365, is that, if everything is
properly activated, WE for Office acts fine.

However, since I have a serial number and synthesizer purchase, do I always
need to be connected to the Internet for this to work properly.

Another scenario: After several years, repeated system crashes could
result in the number of allowed installs to drop to zero. What then? How
is that handled?

At least, AI Squared lets us deactivate installs if we know we're going to
do drastic maintenance. I don't think the shark allows any deactivations.

I realize we users of WE for Office are not contributing much to AI
Squared's profit margin, but, many of us have, or are planning on, investing
in a higher quality synth, at least.

Just a thought.
