Greetings, I just posted a script called "Microsoft Word Count". Press a key and hear the number of words in the document you have open in Word. If you have several, Window-Eyes will tell you the total for the document you're currently working on. If there is not a document open when you press the hotkey, Window-Eyes will fail gracefully.
By default, the speak Word Count hotkey is Control-Windows-W. You can configure this to your liking from the help and options button in Script Manager.
