I feel I should clarify this a bit. The App Store is a place for
finished products. Sourceforge is a place where many things can be ready
for use, but they are still presented as works in progress. One focuses
more on distributing final release versions, the other on helping
developers efficiently communicate with distribution as an added
benefit. Since GW Micro to my knowledge doesn't screen anything put on
AC other than ensuring it's lack of malware, it seems it's better
leveraged by going with a center for developing as opposed to strictly a
center for distribution. A key component of a development hub is
abstracting developers from their projects.
OK, I'm done. Just something to chew on next time you're really
evaluating AC's purpose.
