Hi Dennis,

Yes, a little, but I've been out sick two days this week.

I did not find what you are finding, that is, if I wait for the control
panel applet to build it's list, then the list eventually gets focus for me
automatically, and there's no problem.

Even so, I had a look at the window, and did not find a listbox control,
even though Window-Eyes obviously says we are on one when you tab around.
This must mean they are using windowless controls, and I would have to
analyze the MSAA info to see what it would give me. I have gotten info from
MSAA for windowless controls in other apps, but I don't immediately see how
it would be possible to manipulate such a control (to cause it to have
focus) if it is windowless (and so I don't see how I'd get the control's
object).

So, sorry Dennis, unless someone answers back and tells me it's easy and I
only have to do this ..., then I don't think I can do it, it's not happening
to me, and xp is going away, including the pc I'm using for testing at work
(in a couple of months). I don't think this is going to happen. I'll copy
the scripting list to see if anyone tells me how to give a windowless
control focus though.

Chip
