Aaron,

    He is entering text into the edit field from the dialog box itself, not 
the xml using an editor. I think you have answered him assuming he is just 
adding text to his XML file only.

This is standard Windows behavior. You can't use character shortcuts
that don't exist in the control's text. You can have multiple shortcuts
with the same letter, but that's not recommended as it leads to confusion.

In that case, trying inserting a vbCrlf character.
