Hi Chip,
I am working on the extraction of links so they can be loaded into a view
of some type. I discovered that some web page when going back a page only place
the / at the beginning and others go all the way back to /www and is a pain.
Busy all day and just working on it now.
I am making this app for all web pages based on the default path given,
whether it is a home or deep inside a page...
I am doing this to be totally outside of going to the page at the moment.
In doing so I have to know what default back issue is being presented. For some
just use the / and others the /www and all others use a http statement which
requires no modifications.
So, have not look at that link only because I am making it more than a CNN
web page.

Bruce,
The RSS links I sent you had each set of stories placed into its own
category page. There was another page listing all the RSS category links,
which could be used to present the category choices to the user.

There over 200 links on the page and have not placed them into
categories, but that can be done. Deciding to use tree views or list view
and may use both for search reasons.
The Tree View is better for categories as I did in the UnInstall
program.
I will probably place the category at the top level and any sub level
the links inside of them.
I am using the standard HTML tags to do all of this for that is pretty
straight forward and can make a list easily while making the file, for an
easy split function would place them into any format I choose since all
lines are VbCrLf lines.
I do a search for tag starts and ends, including the links for all links
use the standard href="link path" format and any descriptions are inside
either header tags or title tags and those 2, title and href are what I
extract out and if a standard link using <a /a> then everything is placed in
there but the java script stuff...
So, I am busy most of today but will have all the above tested out
tonight. For the dialog box is there for the program with only a list view
area but will expand on that tonight.
The CNN Headlines is under CNNTV and the rest will be done tonight.
Adding the search option for any name using only part of the name...

I was thinking of having the category choices as an option. that's
correct that was what I was thinking. If it could also show the top
headlines in general that would be good.
