Hi Dennis,
I have uploaded the beta version of Breaking News. It loads the entire
page, saves an html version in the default folder titled Breaking News folder.
I have not got a list of web sites yet, just one web site at the moment. It
will display all links in the list view and you can view it either in a local
html file or text file.
I have no alerts yet for I want this part tested and improved before moving
to that part.
There are some web sites I can not look at because they do not load the
page until you trigger the page from a "OnLoad" event.
I probably could figger that one out eventually but that is the only pain
at the moment.
but it can load HLNTV or CNN or Fox News without any problems.
It seems to be OK going to any web site on the link list displayed in the
list view.
It is called BreakingNews and can be downloaded now for testing or feedback.

I was thinking of having the category choices as an option. that's
correct that was what I was thinking. If it could also show the top
headlines in general that would be good.
