Please send me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) some problematic file(s), packed with Zip or tar+bzip2 (do not just attach them uncompressed, many mail clients attach Nanoscope files as text, corrupting them). There are many variations in the Nanoscope files and it's possible the import module does not get it right for your files (it might look for Samps/line in a different section of the header file, for instance).
