I have some files from similar set-ups that load fine in Gwyddion. Strange, this means a) The files do not even start with ‘\*File list’ or ‘?*File list’. b) Something went wrong with line-ends (the Gwyddion import module assumes CRLF, i.e. Microsoft, line-ends). because in all other cases at least the file is recognized. > Should I send some straight to you, with the gwyddion equivalent > alongside for comparison? Definitely. If you send them by e-mail, please send them compressed, do not send giant scans and send them directly to my university address [email protected]. The compressed part is especially important now as many e-mail programs tend to mangle Nanoscope files, thinking they are plain text.
