Dear all,

i have used gwyddion for a while but just for image analysis and
processing. Now i started a new project using colloidal probes.
To characterize their size i used the colloidal probe to image a spike
grid which results in an image of the colloid used as a probe. My
question is now:

Is there a way to directly extract the radius of the colloid from the
image using gwyddion?

(Up to now i do it like this: Flatten image, making crossections through
the image, using the fit function circle of the generated profile to
determine the radius. This i do for some of the colloid images on the
image in order to get statistical information)

Suggestions how to improve that procedure are highly welcome!

Regards

Tassilo
