This corset is too late. It's not a great pattern either IMHO...the pieces  
do not make what you see in the illustration.
 
What you need is Past Pattern's #213 "Victorian Corset"

This is easy to make. I made one with boning casings on the outside....and  
covered with an embroidered ribbon over a horizontally narrowly striped fabric. 
 Very pretty....with some lace at the top. Always make your corsets pretty, 
it  makes people want to wear them more. And in this period they loved a 
la-dee-da  corset.
