Fashionfabricsclub.com (which is now the same as denverfabric.com) and fabric.com get new stuff all the time, so your wool might show up if you can wait a bit and keep checking back--I think they get new mill ends from the retail clothing manufacturers, so the fall-winter stuff should start coming in soon.
Class Act Fabrics has a 70% wool 30% nylon blanket weight red plaid right now: http://classactfabrics.com/wool/wool_fabric.htm Renaissance Fabrics http://www.renaissancefabrics.net/cgi-bin/showAll.cgi?section=W has an auburn and green plaid 100% wool. William Booth, Draper, http://wmboothdraper.com/ has a red and white "bag hose" check in wool. Burnley & Trowbridge has a black watch plaid wool on its site; they usually have lots more fabrics that are not posted on-line, so it might be worth e-mailing them with your request: http://www.burnleyandtrowbridge.com/index.asp Good luck!
