Wool Connection also sells on EBay--username thewoolconnection1 A lot of her
EBay stuff is small pieces of hand-overdyed wool aimed at the rug hooking
market, but a fair amount of her stuff is mill-dyed yardage of coatings and
sometimes herringbones and flannels in colors that work for garb.

In general, looking on EBay for "wool herringbone fabric" or "wool flannel
fabric" can yield interesting results though you're taking more of a chance,
since you're less likely to be able to get a swatch before you buy.

B. Black & Sons, which specializes in suiting fabrics, also has some nice
flannels, some of which are in colors like deep red and purple. They also
have sales--I bought some lovely blue flannel from them once for $5 a yard on
sale.
