Since Costume Con is held by a different group every year, there is a variability in what classes are offered, and their quality. It all depends on who is running Programming, and who is attending and willing to teach. Different regions bring in different people. CC 28 next year in Milwaukee will be quite different from CC 27 this year - different people, different classes.

Costume College in the Los Angeles area.

If you are looking for education, I would suggest Costume College.? I went to Costume Con this year and, while the fashion shows are fun, the education sessions I attended were, I thought, sub-par.? I only had to drive up the road, though--I would definitely not travel half-way around the world for it.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I am sure there are more out
there.
