The corsets looked wrong to me, because they covered the hips, which is a Victorian thing. And the lines were Victorian also, although I have seen some things in Moda a Firenze that show a less stiff bodice line in Italy. Also, No chemises! (A pet peeve (among many) with "The Tudors" show on Showtime--no one would wear their costly, difficult-if-not-impossible-to-wash gowns next to their skin! Plus it would have made things much easier on the costume crew-just wash the chemises.) The animation is awesome, though. I'll have to check with my son and see if he's planning on getting this one. Maybe they watched Princess Diaz in Shrek, -C. ------------------------------------------------------------ This email was sent from Netspace Webmail: http://www.netspace.net.au _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list h-costume@mail.indra.com http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list h-costume@mail.indra.com http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
