Thanks to all the replies so far - some great feedback!

If we run another meeting at Hursley I want to focus on getting some
time in the schedule for playing with boxes, as well as encouraging
people to skip a talk they are not interested in to hang out in
another room (the whole ground floor was available to us)
The lighting in the auditorium was unfortunate - there are something
like 8 preset light settings that we could have tried so I will keep
an eye out next time to try and get it better.

I am looking into the networking, but I suspect wired networks might
be too much for our security rules.

It sounds like only having reception open for a fixed time wasn't as
bad as I thought it was going to be, and getting a few people late was
not really a problem.

Again, thanks to all that turned up (and also those that gave a talk!)
