Kevin, I was confused when I starting reading this thread, i.e. "My Vista won't fit into larger hospital IT network". At first glance I thought there was a new "distribution" of VistA named "My VistA" or maybe that this was regarding some really, really large hospital network (i.e. bigger than the whole VAH system) that covered the planet or some such...
Then after reading your post I thought who ever the decision maker is they are making a huge mistake - they have it all wrong. It is they who should be emulating and extending your work with VistA/GT.M/GNU/Linux into their clinic, hospital system and beyond.
