lt also helps not to have huge logos and stickers plastered all over
your ride, not to mention not having massive chrome speaker grilles
showing.

I have always gone with a stealth install and have never had a problem
with theft.  I remember my '94 Camaro that I had in 2000.  There was a
plastic panel under the hatch that covered the entry to the trunk.  I
machined a piece of MDF to the same shape, mounted the sub and amp to
the backside, then carpeted it and put it in the place of the panel.
From the outside you couldn't tell there was $1500 in hardware there.
