Thanks. Yes, I do know what a post card is for......Used them 20 years ago. Perhaps I mis-read Thane's original request. I got the impression that he was using a "post card" sw suite on the laptop that used the laptop's display to show any status. OK. My bad, yet again!!!!! LOL!

The old ones were only as good as the cheat sheet number decoder
and if it covered your particular MB/BIOS.
They are sometimes helpful even with no decoding.
