I think ReadyNAS is just as capable, no doubt.  But I've never used one and
I have no idea how it performs.  The reviews and benchmarks say it's
fantastic too.

I'm just real happy with my Synology and don't regret the purchase 1 bit!

If anything, I think that Synology has dumbed down things so it's easy to
do stuff.

But hey, if things work well, then so be it.........
