If they're in RAID, TRIM is not enabled. The only controller that currently
supports TRIM in RAID is the integrated Intel RAID, and then only in RAID0,
and only on Intel 7-series chipsets with very recent BIOS updates (and OROM
update) and Intel RST driver versions.

The software is wrong. Most drives have a form of garbage collection that
try to clean up dirty pages when the drive is idle which helps, but it isn't
TRIM.

the sw in my sons box with the two c300 says trim is enabled.  Been 
running trouble free about a year now. Running diskeeper 12, it has 
some kind of magic it works on ssd's. way over my pay scale these days :-D
