I have no problem with software having an explicit license, I just don't see that it normally needs to be quoted at the top of EVERY module. (There are probably exceptional jurisdictions where it does, but not many.) The GHC method, where the license file is in the distribution and easy to find if you want it, seems fair enough to me.
