Suresh Srinivas commented on HDFS-6940:
---------------------------------------

bq. Suresh, if you want to judge peoples' respectfulness, you should probably
look at your own style of communication. Your subjective opinions on the value
of people contributions are incomplete and hostile. Please consider apology.
Really! Committers do need to stick to the areas where they are familiar
demonstrated by their contributions. It is an unwritten rule, based on honor
system. Can you explain to me what is wrong with stating that well known
expectation?

bq. Suresh, Your veto is not argumented technically, besides being late.
The technical arguments are, we do not want to unnecessarily open up interfaces
and take the burden of supporting it, until the work that is motivating this
really is agreed upon. Until that this code can go into a feature branch and
not in trunk.
