Chris Douglas commented on HDFS-6940: ------------------------------------- bq. Committers do need to stick to the areas where they are familiar demonstrated by their contributions. It is an unwritten rule, based on honor system. Cos's +1 is valid; he's a committer on the Hadoop project, period. He does not require your consent to participate in these discussions. bq. Your veto is not argumented technically, besides being late. Committed patches are not immune to vetos, and this is obviously a technical difference in opinion.
