Hi, so I tried running HelenOS amd64 with EFI GRUB in Qemu, but it seems that by default the QEMU firmware is not EFI aware. I tried using https:// sourceforge.net/projects/edk2/files/OVMF/OVMF-X64-r15214.zip/download and ran qemu with -pflash <path>/OVMF.fd. HelenOS starts booting, but then I get:
Task init:ns (2) killed due to an exception at program counter 0x000.... 09531 .... Kill message: Page fault: 0x00...010a9 Then the other initial binaries start (loc, rd, vfs, logger, ext4s, init) start, last message is: init: HelenOS init I wonder how you test the EFI GRUB, do you do it on real hardware, or in Qemu?
