Hello everyone, my name is
Bob and I live in Pennsylvania.
Tonight I am making stir fry my style.
I start with 2-3 Tbl olive oil always.
Tonight I will add 2 tsp rosemary, 2
tsp savory, 1/2 tsp sage, and 1 tsp
parsley, all dried from stock I've grown.
Next I will cut up the worst meat I have
on anything, beef, chicken,
pork or fish, whatever I have handy,
tonight it will be pork loin.
I always cut it in very thin strips from
less than an inch long to over 2 inches
long.
Once the meat is cut, I heat my oil on
high, add the herbs and meat and cook
and stir till all the meat is browned
on the outside.
I turn the heat down to finish cooking.
I will add soy, steak, and teriyaki
sauce tonight; but, that varies also
to what ever I am in the mood for
along with tabasco.
I cook this all for 5 minutes on low
while covered.
Next I will throw a cup (each) of
carrots and celery in that are cut
in thin pieces, along with red and
green peppers chopped up(about 1/3
cup together).
There again the veggies I use will
vary as to what I have when the mood
hits.
Once you try it, You kind of find
favorites on herbs, veggies, and meat
combinations.
The combinations are endless.
Vinegar and or sugar can be added
as suited also for sweet and sour.
I will cook it all together for
less than 10 minutes covered,
stirring from time to time.
When the veggies are done to
the point I want them, I uncover
the pan and turn the heat up.
I cook off all the excess moisture
so the oil and stuff coats
everything nicely in kind of
a caramel coat.
I serve hot over rice right away.
I hope you all have a wonderful
day.............Bob
