Ok, forget about that message, i figured it out.

I have another question.  Does anybody know where I can get a reference to
explain all of the gEngfuncs.pEfxAPI functions.  I would like to know what
the various parameters for R_BeamEntPoint and some of the others do.

Subject: [hlcoders] Problems with client-side weapons


I am trying to add a weapon based on the Crowbar using SDK 2.2.  To begin
with, I copied the crowbar.cpp to a new file (myweapon.cpp).  I replaced all
the models in the file, and compiled (server dll only).  I then ran it, and
it worked.  I then realized "I haven't done the client side yet, so I added
it to client.dll.  And compiled it.  Now the weapon worked, but there were
no miss sounds and there was no model displayed (the hit sound still played,
which is server side, and the decals work).  I added its own event (an exact
copy of the crowbar one), but it still doesnt work.  Anybody have any idea
what is up?


I would appreciate any help.
