ok, is there any one here that honestly can say they can make a game that will be TOTALLY UN HACKABLE..
I would have to say there is none.. because cracking nad hacking ALWAYS FINDS A WAY.. im not talking about sometimes.. or now and again im talking about ALWAYS, whether it be simple hacks or complex ones.. look at cd copy right protection for instance, there are a lot of cd protection methods, and there are equally the ammount of work arounds, you think you have made a un hackable game and before you know it, theres a loader or a seperate exe or a bug that someone accidently found or made.. trust me. theres no such thing as ABSOLUTE SECURITY although a cockpit and terroists is FAR OF THE MARK and has no relevance or relativity to a computer game and hacks... bad analogy Dan ----- Original Message ----- From: "HL Server" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, September 30, 2001 4:11 PM Subject: Re: Valve will support PB???
