Lets all shut off our servers at Midnight Wed night and on again Thursday Midnight. Spread the word. Power to the people.

An extreme strike where all server operators shut down their Counter-Strike servers would be effective in telling VALVe that we aren't too happy with their recent disappearance from the VAC scene, though it's not entirely practical. Throwing this at a large portion of the community (server operators and mod developers that are on this list) is one of the more effective methods of getting a response from the company, rather then idle support requests that take months for action due to the sheer volume of them. Since the main website for this project is down, I can't go and check out the cd key file I observed on their forum yesterday, which could be viewed as a shame I suppose, though as long as they're down I'm happy =) I suppose your reply was supposed to be rather sarcastic, but meh =) - Bruce "Bahamut" Andrews -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of voogru Sent: Tuesday, 28 September 2004 2:53 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [hlds] RE: VAC... and Steam keygens Yes, let give out more links to this shit so more little 12 year old kiddies start using it. The best bet would be for all of the server operators to shut down the servers until this is resolved, they can't cheat and lame up games if they are no servers to play on. Or, it might be a good idea to look at the sv_password variable. (Or any type of mod to restrict who and who can't join the server). Sure they can run their own crappy servers, but who cares? - voogru. _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
