'lo,

Like I promised, I downloaded and tested this "non-steam" and
successfully made it connect to a steam based server -without a cd key -
console output below.

This definitely has to be how our little hackers are getting around.
This program combined with a VAC disabler and multihook is all they need
to become the biggest pains in the arse around.

VALVe definitely need to get onto this and stop it from being a viable
way to play Counter-Strike online. Not with some hacky fix, but with a
properly thought out solution.

The FIRST step is to recognise the threat. We now have enough evidence
to do that. Next move belongs to VALVe.

Now this makes me laugh a bit (no offense).

See, I mentioned about shutting servers a while back to send a message
and
although the subject may have been different the end result is the same.
I
also remember what quite a few had to say/flame.

I even heard some "mighty" gsp's (lol) tell me where I should go with my
little DSL server.

But, now, it is suddenly Ok I guess.

My, what a funny bunch we have here.

Regards
