Wow. Read my post. I offered up the fact this list is for >>>>servers<<<<<
of all kinds, not just CS:S AND I included a request for valve to fix HL2DM
as well. The meaningless banter is your friend's novel about how much better
HL2DM is than CS:S.

I love playing both these games AND yes I agree HL2DM is "neglected" in a
sense (as compared to CS:S). I am sure everyone realizes this is strictly a
business decision on Valve's part to focus on the games which have more
users.

Again, Valve, please fix HL2DM - this is a great game!

Meaningless banter to you maybe, but not for all of us. I happen to agree
with everything he said. The updates always seem to be for CS. HL2DM has so
many bugs and yet it seems to be always ignored.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this is the dedicated server mailing list.
Where else should we post server problems? The steam forums are worthless,
unless you enjoy reading mind numbing responses. The earlier post from the
steam forums that Kyrios pointed out, is a very good list of some "Major"
issues with this game. The maps from the contest were promised to be
released a while ago... still nothing.

I have also made a few posts regarding possibly having some kind of
pre-match, restart rd, or even an option to choose which team you want to
join at the start of a team dm game, and I have only gotten one response.
The response I got said to use mani-mod... that is not an option for me at
this time. I just want to use a built in cvar for these things... just like
the ones available for all the other team games. Have you ever tried to
start a clan match on a team dm server? It is a pain in the @ss.

These are legitimate server issues that I don't think should be ignored, and
to my knowledge this is the only real place to voice our opinions or
questions.

Thanks
