Earlier we used the plugin for adminmod called "fakefull".
YES, some players got frustrated... BUT, it filled up the server and
everyone got happy.
Boots sounds like a better idea since then they have something to play with
while waiting for the first players to join.

It is a known fact that most players will not join a server with no
players..
So it is good to have something to get it going...

I think its better this way, its rather annoying from a players perspective
to join a server, having allegedly 4 players, but a bitter disappointment
comes when it turns out to be bots... Please, I know you want to have real
players on your server, but please refrain from adding bots on public
servers. Please.

so, now the server appears empty again :( The only reason I even have bots
at all is so that it appears there are 4 players playing at the time, and
then the server fills up rather quickly. Now it's just going to sit empty
again, argh. Why was this changed?
