Right, so let me get this right...

"There is no tickrate cvar for SRCDS"? This statement is correct unless
you are running mani-admin (probably an extremely large percentage of
SRCDS servers are).

"SRCDS uses the command 'fps_max' period". Uses it period for what
exactly? So tickrate makes no difference to CPU usage or fps? Fps_max
does matter, however so does tickrate...

"and yes it can only be utilised in the CMD line". Disagree. Have you
actually tried setting this in server.cfg or on the console? OMG it
actually works outside the cmdline!! Shock horror!

"there has never been any command tickrate ever". LOL... So the
-tickrate command is something all of us SRCDS admins make up just to
pass the time, and give us something to talk about?

You diss whisper, however it appears to all of us, that you have no idea
what you are actually talking about.

If any of us were you, we would stop posting anymore, and save any
further embarrassment.

gg noob.

Cheers,
Adam.

[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] No no no. There is no
tickrate, ticrate or any other type of tick cvar for SRCDS.
Never has been never will be, EVER. In the CMD line or server.cfg.
SRCDS use the command "FPS_max" period. And yes it can only be
utilized
in the CMD line.

Unlike HLDS which the command is sys_ticrate and can be utilized in
either the CMD line or the server.cfg

There has never been any command "tickrate" ever.

What the hell are you people smoking crack.

[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Can't work out if
people are serious in this topic or not anymore hehe.

It's -tickrate for srcds in the commandline not ticrate (only place it
can be set), and sys_ticrate for hlds (which I believe can be set on
commmandline with + or in the config, but someone will correct me on
that one).
