We don't need no stinkin' ip :-P

I've never used +ip. My understanding is that it's only necessary if you
have 2+ nics, or more specifically 2+ network connections, both with an IP
address. One nic, one internal IP address, some other external ip address
outside of your router, you don't need to use +ip. I've ran my server for
years like this.

Hmm, how interesting, notice the " insecure (secure mode enabled,
disconnected from Steam3)"? I just now noticed that.

is it eveb possibly for a server to bind to an ip address not on your
machine ? you should be fine with the internal ip as long as you have your
router forward all hlds traffic to that ip...
