Not in HL2DM, you don't. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ignacio Gimenez Sent: Monday, 8 June 2009 5:57 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [hlmappers] Making npc's work in multiplayer (hl2dm) and making all players allies.
It's possible, u need a AI_Relationsip to tell the npcs like or hate the player(also with a team filter u can make npcs alies for diferents teams) BUT, you can't do that with combine solidiers or rebels and others humans, beacause in HL2DM the shared humans anims are made to the player only. the only way of make that work is recompile the models(the soldiers and/or the rebels) with included animations or change the name of the included model anims(in gmod that is the way he do it work but with the players models instead) Antilions, Helicopters, Headcrabs, Manhacks, etcs work just fine. NOT USE ZOMBIES, THEY CRASH THE SERVER... if u want more info reply. ;) > Date: Sun, 7 Jun 2009 19:44:44 -0700 > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Subject: [hlmappers] Making npc's work in multiplayer (hl2dm) and making all players allies. > > Without scripts, preferably. > _______________________________________________ > To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: > http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlmappers > _________________________________________________________________ Probá los mejores juegos online en MSN http://juegos.ar.msn.com/ _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlmappers __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 4136 (20090606) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 4136 (20090606) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlmappers
