she is changing to a more powerful computer and we will try again
I believe that the plantronics usb headphones and mic should work on this
computer, should have thought of that sooner. If not, setting up the linux box
is an option.

It's IM had a nice feel to it, crisp and not cluttered... it seemed much faster
than trillian or msn.
I rather like the idea of a 4 way conference (the max using skype - and using
our phones to chant together

A question, have been doing some preventive maintenance on this computer
(belongs to Monica and Roberto). I downloaded spybot and ran the search for
updates, it located the updates, and when i clicked to down load the updates,
each of them returned a message saying "failed checksum"... Has anyone else
experienced that? What does it mean?

yes that happens a lot (sometimes)
It is basically because spybot have tried to verify and check and go peer to
peer with their upgrades
- can you imagine if they were hacked . . .

Running without the updates, spybot found more than 70 individual malwares
here. Am running spy doctor next, then spyware blaster. This is fun!
