Did you read Richard Hirsh's and my posts about this? It doesn't matter what your edition says. The vocal line in the original edition of "Die Schoene Muellerin" is also marked "Singstimme", but it is clear from the text that it is for a male voice. Same with "Auf dem Strom". Just read the text.
