One of the main purposes of releasing new music is to be able to get more
performers interested in playing it. It is very exciting for us to hear
that people are performing the music live and often, and that is the
ultimate aim here. People don't play what they don't know about, so we are
trying to send it forth.

I AM enjoying the discussion about recording and playback, though. The
engineer told us he recorded in a medium that has to be condensed for
current standard CD can playback. I'm not really a tech person, and I don't
remember what it was exactly, but they also save it in the original format
for improvements and experiments in technology down the road. (Does anyone
remember 8-track?)

Thank you ALL for your help with the original questions. We will definitely
hope for enough funding to offer both CD and good quality downloads.

Penny
