Bill is playing a Paxman triple made in 1982. Never heard him speak ill of it. The Pittsburgh Symphony has recorded all the Brahms Symphonies with Bill playing principal. I especially love the slow movement of Brahms 3. They are on a several year program of releasing recordings of all the Mahler Symphonies. All are from live performances. I heard Bill play Mahler 5 last June. He was absolutely spectacular! Can't wait for the recording to be released. Mahler 6 in on tap this season in June. The PSO horn section is awesome! The entire brass section is amazing, not to mention the rest of the orchestra. As you can tell, I am a big fan! Luke Zyla Huge PSO fan! On Aug 14, 2011, at 10:42 AM, Jonathan Yoder wrote:
