I just did a quick-and-dirty search of "Music Index Online" (which won't catch everything, nor information only in print indexes) and came up with about 34 hits, including dissertations by the likes of Steve Wolfinbarger about Bozza. Even if the dissertation isn't exactly what one wants, check out the citations. I'd also look in Arts & Humanities citation index.
